School fundraising, bleh. Microsoft Design software? BLEH!
Ok, I’m not one for school fundraising. I’ll be honest. Maybe it’s because I got burned so many times in my childhood. (Chocolates for choir anyone??)
But perhaps the one thing that has me so gosh darn upset with the whole thing is that the playground equipment, which we are fundraising for, has already been purchased. It is supposed to be installed on December 15. So now they are having a “budget emergency” and we are supposed to pick up the slack. Hey, I’m all for helping kids…but wouldn’t it have been better to raise the money first, buy a more modest piece of equipment or save for a while to get what really was desired?
Who comes and picks up the slack whenever I overspend?
Maybe I need to talk to Avon about that. I could use some new shoes!
And while I’m at it…
What the heck is this crap?! http://www.microsoft.com/expression/default.aspx Excuse me? When did Microsoft become a synonymous with Quality Design Software?
Stick with web browsers. Sheesh. I won’t hold my breath.
