Wow, that’s the first post! It’s simple, but strong.
I’m not much of a conversationalist
, but what exactly are we bloggin’ about on here?
Man, I could tell you some stories!
Did you know it *is* possible to burn baking chocolate that you are melting in the microwave?
Our whole house smells like, correction – reeks of burnt chocolate. Normally one of my favorite “holiday” scents, now it smells so bad I’m spraying vanilla air freshener to try to “tone it down.”
Don’t men find Vanilla sexy? Maybe that’s what I need to do..burn vanilla candles.
Sheesh.

Actually, I think that it’s the cinnamon scent that men find sexy, but I’ll have to look this up and find out why.
Cheers to you for baking and getting started early on the tradition of handmade gifts. That’s something that I am planning on getting started on this weekend as well. I, like you, enjoy the idea of putting my heart into gifts for friends and family. I prefer to give these consumable types of gifts, because I hate the idea of giving something that just sits around taking up space or gets “regifted” to someone else who really doesn’t want it either. In any case, I think that the traditions of baking and making things for people and spending time together far outweigh the commercialism of today’s Christmas.

Maybe your DH would prefer cinnamon if you were wearing it!
